PetFood is a power tool for adult cats and dogs healthy.
PetFood , the diet for adult dogs and healthy cats, allows you to know the amount of food to give to your animal and the daily cost of this diet.
The ready -made foods give indicative quantities per day for a dog or a cat, but which rarely take into account the individual characteristics of the dog or cat. This application makes it possible to specify this quantity, free.
1 ° screen: you enter the individual characteristics of your adult dog, kitten or adult cat. You can keep your animals in memory.
2 ° Screen: You enter the characteristics of the complete, humid (box, sachet, tray, etc.) or dry (kibble) that you want to assess: you just have to read the average analysis indicated on the label.
Result: With one click, you will know how much food to give your pet by taking into account its species, race, sex, weight, activity, and growth (only for cat).
You can enter the price per kg of the food in question, and you will know in a second what price will cost you the daily diet of your dog or cat.
Please note this application does not allow you to know if the food you have chosen is suitable or not to your pet. To find out if this is the case, we advise you to consult your veterinarian.
Frequent questions:
What is a full food? It is a food which, given in good quantity, and with water at will, can cover the nutritional needs of the animal category for which it is indicated. It's written on the label! "Complete food for ..."
What is average analysis? It is the nutritional composition of the food guaranteed by the manufacturer (protein, fat, ash, fiber, humidity)-the humidity may not be indicated for a dry food, in this case, it is estimated by the application-.
Why limit the application to adult kittens and cats and adult dogs? Why not also integrate other dogs and cats: growing puppy, female dog or pussy in gestation or lactation, sick animals? Because their diet is not easily modelable without risk of error.
Who did this application?
Dr. G. Blanchard, a nutritionist veterinarian, developed this application by taking into account the latest scientific knowledge.
However, the foods themselves can be of variable quality, and even the information calculated by taking the animal into account does not allow a reliability of 100%.
She therefore advises you to weigh your dog or cat every 15 days, to adjust the amount of food (+ if the weight decreases below the optimal weight; - if the weight increases beyond the optimal weight).
